The essential oil of rose, to which this herb owes its sweet and distinctive odour, can be found in both the flower petals and the leaves and sometimes in neither as not all roses harbour a scent.
The oil of rose has been valued in civilisations throughout human history going right back to the ancient Egyptians who first distilled the oil from the petals - some 40,000 petals are required to make a single drop of rose oil and as a result, this oil has always been highly prized and highly priced.
Fortunately, however, this powerful aroma imparts easily into infusions which is why rose petals make such a fabulous addition to the Aquasol range. The unique fine grinding process maximises exposure to the precious oils and is a delightful infusion on its own or mixed with other fruits or herbs.

Directions: Add a quarter to a half teaspoon to taste, to hot water or any liquid beverage of your choice and stir. Once opened consume within 1 month
